Designed with luxury touring in mind, this craft is built on a highly stable platform, perfectly complemented with the powerful and fuel efficient, 1.8 litre, naturally aspirated, four-cylinder, High Output purpose-built marine engine. Offering incredible versatility, the FX Cruiser HO is equally capable for a huge range of applications from long day trips exploring new waterways to water sports with the family.
The FX Cruiser HO features a 5-inch full-featured infotainment system with a glass colour touchscreen and built-in GPS system*, premium factory-installed audio speakers with smartphone integration, Drive Control with Auto Trim, a large glove box with a built-in light, USB and 12 volt charging ports, a streamlined tilting handlebar with tie hooks and extremely comfortable and dry ride. All 2023 FX Series WaveRunners now come with pre drilled holes for easy installation of Yamaha’s exclusive RecDeck platform, allowing you to connect JetFish and lounge accessory packages, for more on-water action and versatility.

Integrated Mirrors

Tow Hook
For additional on-water thrills and spills, all WaveRunners come with a strong tow hook allowing for the secure towing of inflatable tubes, wake boarders or skiers. * Other model colour shown.
Deep Reboarding Step and Handles
The FX WaveRunner series includes twin reboarding handles and a new wider and extra-deep ergonomically designed soft-touch reboarding step, making climbing back onboard extra easy and safe. The reboarding step conveniently tucks away when not in use. * Overseas model colour shown.
RiDE Dual Control System
Yamaha’s patented RiDE is the world’s first dual throttle handlebar control system, that makes handling easy, fun and intuitive. Pull the right lever to accelerate and the left lever to decelerate and for reverse. Release both levers, or in any combination, and the system reacts with precise control.
Tilt Adjustable Steering
Unique to WaveRunners FX Series, the tilt adjusted steering allows the rider to adjust the steering column up or down to the suit a more aggressive or comfortable riding position. * Other model colour shown.
Electronic Trim
The electronic trim system allows the rider to quickly adjust how high or low the bow sits in the water, improving the crafts overall handling and on-water performance. This system can be engaged for improved cornering, carrying multiple passengers, towing or in rough conditions.
Cruise Assist and No Wake Mode
Cruise Assist allows the rider to set a consistent engine speed, helping to reduce throttle fatigue, improve fuel efficiency and help make longer trips more comfortable. 3 No Wake Mode settings cap the engine’s RPMs at an optimum idle speed, for travelling through no-wake zones and other restricted areas.
Multiple Ride Modes
New to the FX series is a set of new ride modes to improve your riding experience. From Advanced Reverse Assist for easier launching, customisable speed settings for learner riders and an Ultra-Slow Speed Mode, riding the FX series couldn’t be any easier. *Overseas model colour shown.
Multi-Mount System
Built for the most tech savvy of riders, the new multi-mount system allows for the easy attachment of third-party action cameras, speaker, GPS, fish-finder and phone devices. * Other model colour shown.
Footwell Drains
A first for the watercraft industry, all FX Series WaveRunners come with built-in footwell drains, delivering a dryer and more comfortable riding experience. * Overseas model colour shown.
Connext Touchsreen
An Industry first, all FX models are fitted with a 4.3 inch colour LCD touch screen instrument panel which provides increased fuel information, drive controls, diagnostics and screen customisation at your fingertips. * Overseas model colour shown.
2 Pull-Up Cleats
Two (2) pull-up cleats located on both sides of the craft make it easy to secure the craft to docks, pontoons or other water vessels. * Overseas model colour shown.
Theatre Style Cruiser Seat
This luxury, theatre-style seat is designed to provide plush accommodations for all-day riding, for up to three persons. The two-tone seat is ergonomically designed and textured for both speed and comfort and is suitable for recreational and touring conditions. It comes with separate front and rear sections, making maintenance and access to under-seat storage easy.
Lightweight NanoXcel Hull and Deck
ultra-lightweight, high-strength material reduces the weight of the hull, deck and liner by 25%, delivering improved acceleration, fuel economy, top-end speed and handling. The gem-like finish reduces surface tension on the water, for a more agile and responsive ride. * Overseas model colour shown.
Naturally Aspirated 1.8 Litre High Output Engine
The four-cylinder, 1812cc High Output Yamaha engine and 155mm high-pressure jet pump, deliver the largest water displacement of any craft in its class. This naturally aspirated engine delivers race performance acceleration, high-end speeds, outstanding fuel economy, low noise and reduced emissions.
